What do you leave in your camper and what do you remove for winter storage?  Do you clean everything out, if so, that's a lot of stuff I'd need to find a home for.

Anything that can freeze or be damaged by the cold comes out. Everything else stays in. The stuff that comes out fills just a small box.

To be more specific, all liquids other than propane come out, along with canned food, toiletries and the coffee maker. The battery gets pulled and stored in the shop, too. We go through every cabinet and storage nook and give it all a decent cleaning. That insures that we don't miss anything that should come out but may have been tucked or pushed into a corner.

We do a good cleaning and remove the propane.  Then it is off to the limestone cave.  Constan 55 degrees.  No winterizing.  I just remove the battery after storing the pup and take it home with me.

With the pup, we use to remove almost everything except pots, pans and dishes.  We would remove all towels and sleeping bags, pillows, laundry soap, cleaning products and just before we closed it up for the winter we would place a box of baking soda in the fridge and place bounce sheets under all the mattresses, in all cupboards and drawers..

I didn't store it last winter.  I camped in it.  This year, however, Roamie will be stored in my garage.

First time storing the Quicksilver.  I'll take the tent off and the mattress's out.  Remove any paper products, towels, etc. that may possibly mildew.  The bodies mostly aluminum so I'm not too worried about mice getting in it.  It will sit on the ground (dirt/grass) so put it up on some plywood squares under the stabilizers and tires.  Throw a breathable cover over it and then cry a lot because camping seasons over!

I pull everything, give the inside a good cleaning, and pack some of the equipment back in.  Anything that is food related lives somewhere else for the winter, including pots and pans, dishes, etc...

We remove anything that can freeze (toiletries, emergency stash of canned food) as well as all paper goods; we use these in the 'stationary' house during the winter but usually donate the stash of canned goods to the local food bank.  Mattresses, sheets, towels, and cooking gear are all left in the PUP.  We keep the PUP in our driveway during the winter.

What IS Winter storage?=Sorry, Winter is when we can camp comfortably, outside in shorts, T's and sandals.
