Last year a group of guys got together in the fall, we sat around a campfire and ate well. There has been a request to do it again this year so we are going to camp at Promised Land SP the weekend of August 3-5th, Northwoods Loop and go to the 450s loop. They should be more level then the 430 sites were we had a rally and camped at a few years ago.

I spoke too soon! Promised Land is 6 1/2 hours from here, too far for just 2 nights. Maybe the next one won't be so much of a drive.
OK, lets talk meals. Like last year, how about we each proved one meal for everyone so we aren't packing many meals of one person? JR, and I will take the Saturday evening dinner since that's the big one. We are making marinated venison, crab legs, baked potatoes and maybe some vegetables (corn on the cob?). If anyone doesn't eat venison, we will cook you something else... just send me a PM and let me know.
We will be bringing kayaks.
Great weekend with friends. Awesome kayaking, fishing and sleeping weather. One thunder storm that lasted about an hour and some rain half way home.
