Barb, what dates are you actually at 4 mile?

We've got a bocce ball set and I'll bring water balloons too. As for food I'll have to think about what country we'll represent.
For the games there is a great open area behind sites 214-218. We are at site 216 I think and are willing to be the meeting site. So let the games begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joe let me know when T-shirts are ready for order!!! I've got a team of six to get uniforms for  ;D

They are giving $15 off orders of $60 or more. The couponcode is INDEPEN60, and it doesn'tjust have to be rally gear either. Do it before June 28 to get deal.

Croquet, never learned, but would be interested.  Maybe we could also get a little history to go with it?

My shirts have already shipped!

OK Gang! Time to check your party supplies! Anyone have hula hoops?  How about washer toss or cornhole?  Someone with a little time and a computer want to put together an Olympics or Niagra Falls or both trivia sheet?  How about a scavenger hunt?  That way our games aren't all throwing or running.  What about a relay for the kids where the goal is to dress in funny clothes(over the clothwes they already have on), then take them off, and the next person in the team has to do it and the team who is fastest wins?  How about a guessing game, like guess how many M&M's are in the jar?

What have you or your kids done at events/family parties that was a total hoot and relatively easy to do?

Lets have some fun and really get to know each other 🙂

Just ordered our shirts! Thinglette how about instead of egg on the spoon relay we do marshmellows on the spoon relay? Or fill the bucket using sponges relay? That was always one of my favs from Girlscout days. Plus it'll cool off the kids if its hot! I'll be doing more brainstorming over the next week as I relax in the Adirondacks  🙂

Fill the bucket with the sponge is a winner in the heat!  What about a water carry in big serving spoons, as well?

Shish kabobs originated in Turkey I believe.

Games: What if we did a "where's Waldo?" Kinda game.  Using Binoculars and compasses? IE: standing in position #1, look NNW at ---degrees.  what do you see that is Red?,  Standing at viewing position # 2 look at nne ----degrees, what do you see that is bblue?  What do you think?  Would be a scavenger hunt, not a race, and could be existing sky/scenery items, or items we plant there.

T-shirts arrived today! That was niceand fast.  We got the  basic $10.99 ones.  They'll be a great weight if it is so hot. And The print is of a nice quality, not all plasticky like you sometimes get.  Thanks Joe for arranging this for us.

Other attractions are the Welland Canal, where you can see large ships going through the lock systems.  Check their website for a schedule of ships.  You definitely want to traverse it when there are ships locking through.

Floral CLock in Queenstown, Table Rock Welcome Center.  And these are all free.  Check out http://www.accessibleniagara.com
