Pete and Phil will be in site 607.
We are not big on costumes, but very big on Halloween decorations, so expect fog machines, lighting, camper decorations.
Don't give away our secrets!! >:( And anyway, I might wear a costume... :chef:
Templates for carving.....I'll have to grab one of those. I haven't carved a pumpkin in years and was planning on just digging the knife in until I cut myself and call it done :goodstuff:
Don't worry Pete, we won't steal your ideas.....note to self, borrow fog machine from brother-in-law

I scored big time this weekend at garage sales. I got my son a talking storm trooper helmet that he has barely taken off since I brought it in. I also got a big box of halloween stuff for only $5 :jig:
Light up stuff, carving knife, and other misc decorations. I also got some pumpkin tacky lights last week. I'll take some pictures of what I picked up soon. Or should I "unveil" them on the trip

Don't worry Cindy. Big bad Rusty isn't going to harm you, not while I'm around.
Hmmm, that makes me think of the song "Nothing's gonna harm you, not while I'm around" from Sweeny Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Just sayin'... :chef:
ANYWAY....now that our other huge event is over for the summer, I can focus on Halloween! I have some great ideas for the grown ups, besides the decorating contest (which I love!). We can have a cocktail contest! That's right folks, use that inter-net thingy and find some Halloween cocktail recipes OR make up your own!! Points for taste, creativity, level of difficulty in making. The pot luck should be Halloween themed - Fear not, even "normal" food can be made spooky w/the right name. Get creative!! Like mashed potatoes can be called "ectoplasm" or onion soup could be called "swamp water".
Or how about a good old fashioned sit around the fire (drinking those cocktails) and telling ghost stories? (After the kids are asleep, of course. I know I have a few that will make you look over your shoulder, even if you don't believe in any of it. In fact, if memory serves, there might just be some stories about that particular camp ground. And, a few more ideas that I will share with Mr. Mayor in private that might be a fun surprise or two. :chef:
