I just got back from food shopping with my niece and nephew and BIL. My niece and nephew were in charge of the menu and food shopping. My BIL wanted to see the list so we didn't keep going back and forth through the store.....I said that is one of the things the kids need to learn (8 and 11). My BIL went and stood in line for the lunch meat while I ran around with the kids :goodstuff:

We are going to run a 50/50 this weekend. $1 per ticket, $5 for 10 tickets, $10 for an arm length. The total amount collected will be split in 1/2. 1/2 going to Canvas Campers and 1/2 to the person whose ticket we pull. We will choose the winning ticket at the Saturday evening potluck/campfire.

Mike was picking up the pumpkins. We will have pumpkins for the kids to paint.....if you want to carve it you can.
How many people want to paint a pumpkin? We were going to pick 1 up per kid but if an adult wants to do one we can pick one up for them as well.
Who wants to work with pumpkins? We need a count.

Have a great time, everyone. It looks like it's going to be a super weekend for camping. It's so close to home I wish I could stop by for the festivities but DS1 is taking the SATs right now, Union game for the family later this evening, & looking for our lost dog in between. Can't wait to see pictures when you return!
