My son's birthday party was yesterday and over, My in-laws just left to go home.....now it's time to start packing the RV.

OK, first I'm jumping in the hot tub, but I'll get to the RV today.

Hey gang, with the cost of 3 turkeys, 6 gallons of peanut oil, the gathering site and probably the need for 1-2 cords of wood (last year we have 2 deliveries), we are looking at about $500 of out of pocket costs for this rally. If everyone could pony up $15-20 that would really make a difference.

If you are willing to help out, Phil (me) will be coordinating a payment pool to help cover the expenses.

PM me if you have any additional questions.

It only lasted 13 days on the market and sold. We settle December 5th, that way we can do Christmas in the new house and have all the family over.

Check in... and out is normally 3pm at PA state parks.  You can check in at any time if your site is available.  I've already arrived at 10am with no problem.

The internet says:

Check-in time is 3 p.m.
Check-out time for campsites is 3 p.m. Camping cottages, walled tents and yurts must be vacated by 10 a.m."

Here is the contact information for Caledonia if you want to ask about early check in:

I am hoping to get there early myself.

I don't think arriving early will be an issue this time of year.....it's not like Joe has the site the night before and will be there until the posted check out time (or later)  😉

OK everyone, we are in the homestretch of this end of season rally. Would everyone please take a moment and check the first message in this thread (shortcut here is: https://canvascampers.com/inde.....1#msg22891 ) to make sure all of your information is correct.

For those that are undecided what to bring, we can never have enough tables. Between the buffet line under the canopies, coffee area and tables for the Turkey Cooking and cleanup area, we will probably use 7-10 tables.

Other items that can help:
Spring water for Coffee. (We will probably go through 80 cups of coffee each morning).
1/2 and 1/2 for Coffee
Heavy Duty Extension cords (we are going to need to pull power from multiple sites)
Heavy Duty Power Strips

Standard reminders for everyone to bring your own coffee cup, plates, napkins, forks and knives. For those creating a side dish, please remember a serving spoon/fork/tongs. Please create a "name card/description" for the food. If the food has peanuts as an ingredient, please list it as we have a few people with peanut and gluten allergies.

I had mentioned that I would bring mashed potatoes since they were no longer on the list. For me, it's not thanksgiving without the mashed potatoes.

I'll check at home and see if I can find my heavy duty extension cord and power strip. How many are needed?

[s]I'm still waiting to hear from my brother.  It's either two or three adults [/s] Rich will be bunking with me this trip.  I heard from my brother, he's coming too.

I have 2 card tables I'll put in the RV and 2 maybe 3 heavy duty 25 foot extension cords.....along with my EZ up that you already have me down for.

I'll be bringing a soup for dinner.

I'll be camping solo this weekend.  My son is choosing to go to Dutch Wonderland this weekend over camping  :idiot2:  Oh well, he's 4.
