I just checked, it looks like the campground is full.  I checked because I am trying to talk my cousin into coming down and tenting.  Looks like if they come down they'll be tenting on my site.  You can have 2 tents or 1 camper and 1 tent on the site.

Matt I was also thinking of doing a last minute trip with just me and Amanda for Saturday night but it is completely sold out all weekend.

Our Friday events have been changing constantly.  My BIL was going golfing late, and I was going to take my sister and kids down in the RV and my BIL and DW were going to come later.  NOW the kids want to do some afterschool stuff, BIL is skipping golf but still has the day off of work.  So my BIL and son are coming down in the RV while my Sis and DW and older kids come down later.

Oh well.  As long as I am camping I'll be happy.  Doesn't matter how I get there, when , and with who.

Let the countdown begin.  Ok, what number should we start with?  5 or 4?  I'm thinking it is "4 3 2 1 CAMPING" or should it be "5 4 3 2 1" ?  I'm going with 4, but feel free to let me know how you feel.

I have updated the first page with what people are  bringing to the Saturday Dinner.  I think we need a few more tables.

Instead of bringing a dessert I am going to bring some Mac-n-Cheese as an alternate dinner for my son or any other kiddos who won't eat the Low Country Boil.

Okay, this past wknd, we had a baccalaureate, a graduation, & a family wedding. Today, the truck passed inspection so now it's time to think about camping. Yay!

Matt (Lone Lock), it matters that you and the beer get there first... and maybe some firewood.  ;D

Mike (MBaird76), I don't know the size of my site, but if you and Amanda want to tent you're welcome join me if there's room for another tent.

Rain all week and beautiful, low humidity weekend.
Now to figure out a way to get the camper out of the wet back yard.

The kids and I are super excited for this weekend! They can't wait to make "crabby patties" (cookies that look like mini hamburgers) for the rally. Can't wait to see everyone Friday!

wells its been a good run, two years of booking trips and we never had to cancel one yet up till now. It was bound to happen. Way to much going on and I probably have to work this weekend  my son has lots of studying to do for finals so we have to bow out. I spoke to the mayor (Joe ) and he will delegate our site. to someone that will use it. Please make sure someone else brings papertowels for the boil and desert to replace what we would have brought.we will see every one at promise land  in a month

We'll miss you Jonathan.  I know it sucks when you have to cancel a trip.

I was originally thinking of coming so Amanda could see Maggie, once we heard they were out, we had made other plans.

I talked with my sister.  She is going to bring some brownies.  I hope she uses the corner brownie pan that she has.  My family LOVES corners and for Christmas one year my mom bought all of us corner brownie pans.  Of course I married a woman who prefers the middle.....every other batch is with the corner pan in my house.
