[li]Where: We camp in the family grandstand RV section outside of the track on turn 3. This keeps us close to everything but not in the middle of it all night. I'm to old and like to sleep.[/li]
[li]How Much: 4 nights and 5 days of camping for $150. ($125 for popups) Thursday thru Monday[/li]
[li]Who: Both men and woman are welcome[/li]
[li]Group Gathering: There are marked sites, first come first serve. The first person who arrives in the group saves our sites by putting their camper in one, tow vehicle in another, chairs in a 3rd, etc[/li]
[li]Amenities:[/li]
Electric - There are no utilities at the site. A few of us run generators for a few hours during the day to charge our batteries for lights, etc at night. Take showers in our campers etc. If you don't have a generator, no worries. You can borrow mine.
Bath house - There is a bath house with flush toilets and showers. Showers are normally nice on Thursday and Friday if you go early. Cold showers later. The campground is packed on Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday. Showers are always cold and busy.
Campfires are permitted, above ground. One of us bring a fire pit.[/li]
Water - a fresh water truck comes around a few times a day to fill your water tank as needed. Cost is $??
Grey/Black Tanks - HoneySucker comes around daily to empty tanks for a fee. Cost is $??
Ice - Ice truck comes around daily, about $5 per bag
- [li]Potluck: Everyone brings their own beverages and snacks. Prior to the trip, we split up meals and eat most together. There is a lot of food and we eat well. Maybe not completely healthy but well. (OPTIONAL)[/li]
[li]Activities: Typical day is big breakfast, playing bocco ball, corn-hole, ladder golf or other games, lunch, visit racetrack activities and drivers, watch individual track trials, watch truck rain on Saturday, big dinner, drink a few beverages around a campfire.[/li]
[li]Sunday race day tickets are about $25-$30[/li]
[li]Tour: Even though I don't gamble, we often visit Pocono Casino one evening for diner, slots or whatever. (OPTIONAL)[/li]
[li]Camping includes access to the inside of the track via walking or shuttle bus. There are live bands inside and outside of the racetrack nightly.[/li]
[li]Pack a hat, sunglasses, suntan lotion, etc for race day[/li]
[li]Personal coolers for water or other drinks including alcoholic beverages are welcome in the race. There are restrictions in size and I think they need to be soft coolers.[/li]

Unfortunately my UK co-worker is out and therefore I won't be taking my trailer. Can I bunk with someone for Saturday night?
My UK co-worker is going back to the UK for a long weekend to take care of stuff with his house and tenants.

Actually I won't be making it now either. DW just OK'd me to get 2 kayaks so there goes my race weekend. However it is all good, I'll be kayaking that weekend instead!!!!
