There are only 8 sites that are pet friendly and electric that are available for our dates. In another loop there are 35 non pet and electric sites, 3 cottages and 2 yurts. They are available to reserve today for our weekend.

From what I remember, the loops are not very close to each other like in many other parks. If you are thinking about this one, I wouldn't delay booking.

The state park lied to me.  :tickedoff:  They were going to have all carpenter loop an electric / pet loop.

Are you referring to the loop with #51-65? It is near a pet trail, so I'm assuming those are the pet friendly sites. I can't find a legend on the map for what the stars and the different color site numbers stand for.

According to the reservation site in searching for pet friendly , only sites 054,055,056,057,058,059, & 060 in Fox Run are still available for our weekend. After they are gone, Carpenter town will have to take anyone else attending.  :dunno:

I don't think I ever camped at lackawana SP.  I'd like to go but I need to keep October free.  Nathan and I go to a Chester County Cub Camporee and it is usually in October some time.

The table is up to date.  There are 5 non-electric pet sites in one loop and many non-pet electric sites available in the next loop over.

We will hit a site in the carpenter loop, all the electric sites on your side are gone. Will book sometime next week.

Unfortunately, it looks like I have to work on 10/14.  I could not find anyone to cover me at work.  We have cancelled our reservation, but will be coming to visit and participate in the potluck dinner.  See you all on Saturday.
