Where do you get luminaries?  I only see them offered by neighbors at Christmas time.  How many different types are there?  candle operated, battery operated, sand bottom, high tech plastic bottom, etc.

You can buy illuminataries on Amazon.  I think JoeCamper and the campground will also both be selling them in 10 packs of bags and candles.

Luminaries are to just outline the roads...

The idea of Illumination is to figure out a lighting theme for your site/trailer. It can be as simple as Christmas list, as complex as a theme and anywhere in the middle. Think glowsticks, balloons with lights inside, tea lights, etc.....

It looks really great when an entire development lines the streets with luminaries.  It looks cheesy when you miss a house or 2.  I was only able to visit the last time Canvas Campers did it at Spring Gulch.  I have seen pictures of what Phil and Pete, Tony and Dave do at their seasonal site....it really looks awesome!!!

Since I still have my Christmas lights out I want to try drilling holes in plywood and sticking the bulbs through to try and spell something out.
