Gary, according to my internet research there area few places in the vicinity

1. pipolos pizza 50 bridge street Milford nj 908 995 4191 closes at 9 pm ( just over the bridge jersey side)

2. top of the mall deli RR 611 revere PA (908) 995-4191 closes at 8 on Friday

there are a few other places but they are either closed early  or located in gas station 🙁

Tubing will take about 3-4 hours and then shuttling vehicles.  We plan to leave the campground at 11 am.  That is in the morning for those who don't know. LOL
...

I never knew 11 happens twice a day!

Would it be better for us to meet at the campground or at the drop off point? Our car can hold up to 7 people, or 8 if Gwenbo is with us. rofl_gifrofl_giftaunt_gif

We are pretty much dropping off and then running won't be back till  11pm is.

Gwen, I think I would call the campground and ask the height questions to them directly.

My brother-in-law lives right across from the campground. He just told me that 78 to 611 is fine. Tractor trailers use it all the time.

Also, a heads up to everyone coming in Marienstein off of 611. I'm sure your GPS will warn you, but not far from 611, Marienstein goes off on the left. Make sure you follow Marienstein.

DW is not going to participate in our immature water play so she has offered to shuttle the driving from the bottom (leaving their car) to the start area.  Then she will enjoy the sun, a good book and relaxing lawn chair along the water while we have memories.

Based on the weather forecast we're changing our name to: 2 Fairweather Campers and sadly will not be joining in on the immature water games. cry

To all that skipped the water trip, shame on you the weather was good. Dinner well dinner was damp. We had fun and missed those who stayed away. Barb and Gary

The water was fun! Side note, even if you're ok on rocks and in the water with flip flops, the mud on the way out will definitely either break your flip flops, or claim them as part of the floor, or in my case, both.

It was a lot of fun, a big thank you to ChiefBowes and Thingette 1 for finding a starting and stopping point on the river!

Another thank you to Marc S. for driving me and to Joecamper for letting us use his pump, even if he had difficulty using it on his own.

A little rain can't stop Canvas Campers!
