As many know, after 10 years of cooking 46 turkeys I stepping down last year from cooking.
I think I've done my share.  [Image Can Not Be Found]

We need:

- deep fryer

- 20lbs propane

- oil

- 4-5 turkeys... thawed

- cutting boards and carving knives

- roasters to keep the meat warm

- We do need to someone to find and coordinate a cord of local aged, hardwood delivery.

- We need a minimum 1 ea 6' table for every 3 sites booked

- Depending on weather, we will need 4 or more 10'x10' canopies

The cost of the gathering site, firewood and turkeys will be split by everyone attending.  If you can help, please post here? Thanks!

Yes, I was going to bring my charcoal grill and smoke a turkey.  Evan from TheB.Fam was going to help watch the smoker.  I don't think that my Turkey should be counted on in the full Turkey count....just in case something goes wrong.  I'll bring something else to the pot luck as well.

I have 1 electric roaster that can be used for the Turkey meat.  I'll also bring an EZ up and a 6 foot table.

I'll bring 4 gallons of Canola oil for the fryer as my financial contribution towards the turkey and firewood.

Evan did some Dutch Oven cooking last weekend for the Cub Scouts.  I think my backup contribution (if my smoked Turkey doesn't come out good) will be 2 Dutch oven cakes for dessert.  Plan on the smoked Turkey but at least we'll bring cake as our food contribution.

Lori and I have a debate over sausage in stuffing every year.  She hates it....but thats not how my Mom made it 🙂

Anyone have a recipe their going to make?  I just do stove top and a tube of Jimmy Dean's....that's how my Mom made it, it wasn't fancy it just had sausage in it.
