We can help too...with some supervision!  The only turkeys we have cooked have been in the oven and even then they come out dry.  Stopped cooking them years ago 😂

ok, so I will bring a double batch of sweet corn casserole and no turkey.  Jen and I talked and she is doing a bird instead of me.  I can still bring a roaster to warm turkey in.  And yes, I’m good to put money towards firewood.

and we will be just 2 Adults.  Bobby is at Fort Jackson SC for Army basic training .

We’re in, just booked 127. 2 adults and 3 youngsters (we’ll have my two young nieces with us 9 and 6 years old).

We'll keep it simple and bring a crock pot of mixed vegetables to share.

Our reservation is for starting Thursday , but they are calling for rain and we have late work commitments so we might head out early Friday. Mark has deep fried turkeys in the past so he can help.  We'll  pitch in for firewood .  Thinking of apple dump cake and Ceasars  salad  (for something  green). Only the 2 of us. Marianne.

We were going to arrive Thursday evening but the forecast is calling for a strong line of storms that we would drive through if we left when wanted to.  So, at the latest, we are hoping to arrive before noon on Friday.

We will be there between 12 and 2 FRIDAY.    The lady at campground said anytime after 12 is fine.  If arrive before 12, there will be a $20 early bird fee.

also we have some pallets on truck, already cut up.  That would be dry wood for getting fire started.  That can be used , or not.  Just loaded at work today.

I have camper packed, and we will hook up tonight, tomorrow is trick or treat.  Although weather man man trick us. We will see.

hopefully we'll be there between 12 and 2! It looks like there's plenty of desserts so I'll bring potato rolls and cranberry sauce.

Gary- how much gravy are you doing, should I bring more?  We all usually forget about gravy and do it last minute, good call mentioning it!

Gary is bringing a can of gravy as I can't make roux to save my life. Too many other people make awesome gravy in this group for me to make crap.
