I love the Thanksgiving theme meal, but know it takes a lot of help to cook the turkeys.  Would a bunch of turkey breasts be easier?

We're going to brine and bring a pre-cooked turkey.

We'll also bring several jars of gravy.

Individuals providing turkeys including cooking at home would be great.

We will be making pineapple stuffing.  I will also bring an 18 qt roaster, alum foil, cutting board, knife, gloves, foil pans, extension cords, plug adapters, power strip, table cloth, and the kitchen sink.

We will need 5 tables for food if anyone has an extra available.

Reminder, potluck is at 5pm just like every Nov closer because of daylight savings. It's dark at 6pm.

Membership, all group rallies and everthing else is free here but we do split the cost of the gathering site and firewood the opener in March and closer in November.  18 families can not hang out in my site like the early days and we need a big fire.

Cora and I will likely be getting in after dark on Friday. We'll have an extra table and will toss in a spare EZ up. Still not sure on our food yet but getting hungry thinking about it.

We will be a close to or after dark arrival, but just wanted to pass along this info to those who haven't been at Lums recently. The original check in shack at the entrance is still there, but no need to stop. Check in is now at the store in the middle of the campground loop. But, in the last 2 years all of our paperwork & parking passes have been on our pole for every trip & we never needed to "check in."  Just thought I'd pass this along to help avoid confusion upon arrival.

PS Still deciding on potluck items.

We will make baby red and/or white potatoes.  We have a table if still needed.

My goal in life is to be the person my dog thinks I am.
