Where: Lake Glory Campground - Catwissa, PA
When: September 23 - 25, 2011
Price: $41 water/electric/sewer
- sewer was added to these sites over the winter and the price has included by $2
Reservations: 570-356-7392
- let reservations know you are camping with Joe Brennan and the Canvas Campers group
- one night deposit required at the time of reservation
- post the site you want based on availability on this post.

Original Post:
The Klass family was originally planning to go to Knoebels and camp at Lake Glory the weekend of May 6th,7th and 8th.  Because of multiple reasons we need to change our reservation.  Last year many member of CanvasCampers camped at Lake Glory the weekend of September 23rd.  We had a wonderful time camping, going to Knoebels and some of the campers went to the Bloomsburg Fair as well. :thumbsup:  We are wondering if there would be interest from other campers to do the same the weekend of September 23rd.  The Bloomsburg Fair is held that weekend as well. Your responses would be greatly appreciated.

i also wanted to go in may but now we are not able to.  we would definitely be interested in sept again. we had a blast last year.

We also had a good time last year staying here and going to both Knoebels and the Bloomsburg Fair. I'll check the schedule and see if we can make it this year.

I asked DW about it, and she liked the idea.  I know our boys both enjoy amusement parks (and what kid in his right mind doesn't?).  Count us in.

I just contracted with Lake Glory CG and blocked 12 sites along the creek.  Same location as last year.  The price has gone up $2 because the campground added sewer to these sites over the winter. Book Now!

This was an awesome time of the year to camp. Comfortable days and cool nights.

Joe and Dawn - you guys have to go.  I had so much fun with you last year and getting soaking wet on the flume ride!!  Really hope you can make it.

we will be attending this rally. friends of ours with a hybrid will also be coming. i will let you know what sites once we book. look forward to seeing everyone. 🙂

We'll most likely be coming.  I'm talking to the rest of my family to see if anyone would like to go...they were there last year and had a great time.  If we make reservations, do I reserve a specific site on here?  Last year we reserved with Lake Glory, but specific site reservations were left to Joe since he had blocked all of the sites?  Is that still how it would work?  Also, if my family did want to come, we'd need two sites.  They don't have a PUP, would it be a problem for me to reserve two.  If so, I'll probably shoot for site 32 and hope 34 is available also.

Everyone is invited!  Make your reservation with the campground and then post the site number you would like.  First come, first serve.
I've only blocked 12 sites but can change the contract to add more as needed.

Thanks for the heads up on the year, I fixed it.

Joe, when I called Lake Glory and made my deposit, the woman I spoke to said that you would have to reserve the site that I am requesting.  She would not let me do it.

Every campground handles group very different.  For Lake Glory CG, you book and make deposit with them and post the site you want on this thread.  First come, first serve.  I got your email for site 24 and have updated the beginning of the thread.

Like last year, we will not be having a potluck dinner here since there is so much food at the two attractions.  We will have campfires and drinks!
