Would anyone coming to this rally be interested in:
- [li]BAL 28050 Light Trailer Tire Leveler - used but in good condition w/ wrench and pizza bag for storage - $50[/li]
[glow=red,2,300][SOLD][/glow]
- [li]BAL 28020 Single Axle Tire Chock, but can't remember if we even used it before we sold the popup - $40[/li]
[glow=red,2,300][SOLD][/glow]
- [li]Vinyl spare tire cover with Fleetwood logo, for 13" wheels (24"-26" tires, IIRC), used but in good very shape - $15[/li]

If so, I can bring it and it'd save on shipping.
PM me to avoid clogging up the thread here.

The 157th Bloomsburg Fair is canceled due to flood damage.
That is the word from fair president Paul Reichart.
The Bloomsburg Fair Association met Wednesday to determine if it would be possible to pull off the annual fair, despite all the flood damage.
Fair officials decided after meeting with their legal team and insurance agent that there is no way the fair can be held.
There are possible health risks because of all the flooding and the police and fire departments are exhausted and would not be able to handle the crowds associated with the fair.
It was the announcement Bloomsburg Fair officials said they did not want to make, still it was the only choice they had.

It looks like Knoebels will definitely re-open this weekend (to confirm what Joe said earlier). This was on their web site this morning:
Knoebels WILL re-open Saturday, September 17
Saturday: Noon - 8:00pm
Sunday: Noon - 7:00pm
For a list of rides that will be open, click here: Ride List
Has anyone contacted Lake Glory Campground to make sure they're OK?
Tom,
Great to hear you are joining us. We wouldn't need to choose a site when calling, just let them know you are with the group and make your deposit.
I'm currently working with the campground and we may be staying in the Lakeview Circle sites rather than the Roaring Creek sites. I will post and personal notify everyone attending this week.

Tom,
Let me call them and I will email you in a few minutes. I just spoke to them on Friday after you posted and they guaranteed that they would have a site for you to camp with us.
Thanks Joe, I'll hold off on booking somewhere else till I hear from you. I've got my fingers crossed.
Ok, we have 12 sites in our group, 11 of them are shown on the map below. Everyone is covered and there is one additional site available (not sure of the last site number). All sites include water/electric/sewer and pets. All will accommodate campers 40+ and under.

I will bring the "Circus Canopy" and 2 - 6ft tables. That should hold all of us both for an evening fire social and breakfast in case it gets a bit snippy out.
Anything else we need to bring.
Joe do you want to use our site as the meeting place, or do we have a dedicated site for that. That canopy is a heavy sucker, so I only want to set it up once.
The happiest people don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything that they have! |
I will bring the 40 cup coffee pot and stuff to go with it including creamer this time. :rofl: It will be setup and ready for the morning, first up (Steve) can plug it in.
I also have the extension cord, power strip and everything but the kitchen sink. Everyone can bring dishes and silverware for their family.
I'm not sure what site yet because we haven't camped in the area before... where ever we fit works for me.
