I was recently in a great little yarn shop in Intercouse, PA (Lancaster Yarn Shop). The woman who was working there told me about a fantastic website for free knitting and crochet patterns call Ravelry.com
I highly recommend this site for any of you yarn workers out there - you can even select the amount of yarn that you have and it will give you a listing of projects that you could do with it. What a great way of using up yarn from other projects without making a granny square afgan ;D
Ravelry rocks my face off! You can also upload your projects, photos, also what yarn you have and get into knit vs. crochet fights if you're so inclined. Which I'm not because everyone knows crochet is more versatile. 😛
If you are looking for a less interactive but also helpful site, freecrochetpatterns.com is also a good one.
