DW saw a Hybrid TT at work the other day set up in the large business parking lot. so at lunch she went and took a closer look, talked with the prior owner ( who was delivering it to its new owner)
he gave her a tour, explained why they liked it, but were moving up to a class C now for leisure travel.
she only remembered it was a 07. 19 feet and said r vision on it and he was towing it with ford ranger!
after scouring hours on the web, she finally found it.
2007 R-Vision 19
2007 R-Vision Trailsport 19' Hybrid - 3,095 lbs
figures though.....
DW fell in love with it .... jeeeesh !
her rationalizing this: With our boys growing, as are there needs. they NEED to bring more stuff,, they NEED more room to sleep, they NEED more food....on and on and on.....
now I have searched and found a few of them used for barely under 9k USED, but she is set on spending no more than 5k! ( and frankly we can not afford more than that !)
see, this guy sold his for $3500 ! ( I told her she should have offered him 4500....heheh) so she thinks that we will find one at that price ( i wish)
we will still be towing with the trailblazer, which has towed 4000 lbs rather well for us with farm equipment.
HELP !!!!! aghhhhh
The one your wife saw was sold way below market value! I've seen several on Craigslist at below market prices, but not many. Good luck in your hunt.
Interesting listening to Brandon on that video ... apparently he hasn't seen any highwall models, since he "dares you to find a three-burner stove and oven" on a tent trailer. Ditto on outside storage, but he failed to notice the second battery installed on the unit.
We strongly considered shopping for a hybrid when we wanted something larger than our '07 Flagstaff. Instead, we found the '08 Niagara at a great price and are very happy with it.

I too had a low budget on an HTT when I was looking for one. We just kept saving when we could and put our pop up up for sale. When the pup sold, my search got a little more agressive. We found a nice, new, yearly hold over model at a dealer that was steeply discounted. I made a low ball offer, well below what they were asking, and then negotiated to a point in between. I'm not kidding myself, and understand that the dealer still made some money ( which they should in order to stay in business ) I had a very good down payment and financed the balance and now we have, what I consider to be, a very nice, new, HTT.
DW is happy because the beds have never been slept in by who knows who, the canvas is not stained and we have some peace of mind knowing that there is some service available from the dealer we bought from.
Good luck in your search and never rule anything out. You'll find the right deal for you and your family.
