Welcome from me and my family as well. I am looking to down grade to a pup from a TT. Our TV needs a tranny and we can't tow with our minivan. I can't seen to decide on a PUP or a all hybrid and needed professional opinions on the merits of both so here I am. Please help.

Welcome to CanvasCampers Michigannurse.
I am sure there are people on this site more qualified than me to answer your question, but the first thing you need to do is find out what you can pull with your TV.  That might limit your options.  Then you need to decide how much you want to spend and what you have room for on your property.  We really like the HTT but live in a subdivision that gives us no place to keep it out of sight.  We have a nice PUP that we can keep behind a privacy fence and it suits our needs very well.
There are lots of places that rents HTT's and PUP's.  You might try that route to help you decide.  Either way you go, Happy Camping.

welcome to Canvas Campers!!

need to know the specs of your minivan to help with deciding. year/make/model/engine size/factory tow packager or not.
also how many will be staying in the trailer.

your choices for a hybrid will be very limited, unless you have an Astro/Safari minivan.
nearly all minivans have a max of 3500lbs. towing and they also have a limit of the frontal area of the trailer, which nearly all hybrids exceed.
