Why aren't there rules for rug rats and nose miners? (Personally, I like leashes........)
:hah: :hah: :hah: :hah:
Nose miners???? :2funny: :2funny: :2funny: Since I'm at work I need to go back in and call some of these guys nose miners.
Thats a new one and I thought I had heard them all. No I'm not calling kids that, but a load of nose mining construction guys. ;D
I'm guilty of leaving my dog off of a leash, but he always stays in my campsite, doesn't bark unless someone walks into my campsite, and best of all, behaves better than most of the kids. We have really been fortunate, because we have not had any problems with kids from other campsites. We do usually make it a point to introduce ourselves to the people around us. If you know peoples names, it is harder to disturb them.

Some campgrounds have rules like the following from 'Our Ponderosa Cottage and RV Resort' Ipperwash Beach, Ontario.
I started this thread as a tongue-in-cheek thing.
Then, this was posted, and it just struck me: what a dam...darned shame that this would even be necessary.
I've changed the name of something we used to take for granted; I now call it UNcommon sense, because there's so little of it around. And, I lament the decay of civility and manners. I'm from an era where "I" came last: Bill and I went to the store; My wife, her brother and sister in law, and I had a picnic. Now it's always up front (AND UNGRAMMATICAL): Me and the guys went to the bar; Me and the wife.......... This is more than a grammatical change; it's attitudinal: "I" am the center of the universe. It's no wonder that there's no empathy, anymore.
