I find myself thinking about camping all the time. What mods can I do to the existing camper? What's better in the new campers? When can I get out next? What campgrounds do I need to visit this year? Is there maintanence or something I should be doing? How can this years camping be even better than last? What new camping hobbies can I get involved with... geocaching, hiking? OMG - I can't get enough! I need to try some new recipes? Maybe a dutch oven or those pie iron thingies? A bal leveler would be nice, wonder where I can get one cheap... OutdoorSportman, what else do they have that I don't need... but want? I have a picture on my camper frame on my desk at work and it's in a camper shaped frame. I drink out of a camping coffee mug. I wonder if the township would let me have a campfire in the back yard... just so I can smell it? Is there a camping singles site? just kidding... sorta. ::)

I'll take, "What is obsession, for a thousand Alex" ;D
It is freezing outside right now, and I keep toying with the idea of setting up the camper just so I can clean it!
Srsly there are some repairs I need to do, and need to prep for the first camping trip of the year, I am probably about 1.5 months out from it.
It's been almost a year since I've had Roamie open. It's been a long hard year, even. New family, new area, new life.
There were a few times I saw him sitting in the garage and thinking about how much my life had changed. There were times I wanted only to be rid of him. I was angry about my lack of mechanical abilities, frustrated that there was no one in my area to help. I was alone, but not. My new family wanted very much for me to keep him.
Soon we'll be heading out with Roamie in tow to meet up with about 30 other Apache owners near Sequioa NP. I've got some problems with the lift and other nickel/dime issues that need tended to. Hopefully with all that expertise in one spot I'll be able to have him all fixed up for the trip home and more trips in the future.
When's enough enough? Never. Nor do I want it to be.
