Hello Everyone,
I hope this summer has had  lots of star filled nights around the campfire.
I Have started my quest into a possible purchase - Upgrade of a new or used camper/hybrid/ travel trailer for possibly the middle of next year(GOD willing) I have an idea of what I would like to buy/find to fit my needs like size weight property storage etc. I am considering trailmanor, rockwood roo, jayco and a a few others, but i just came a cross a brand named HI-Lo that is kinda similar to a trail manor but it has an electric lift that moves straight up and down with hard sided walls so no canvas to deal with like my pup. Was wondering if anyone here on the forum either owns one or has spoken to HI-Lo owner at a camp site to get some feed back as to there quality durability and functionability as a camper. They look just as interesting as trailmanor but seem to be selling for a lot less. This type of camper system fits into my criteria because of the restrictions on my storage situation if i continue to store my camper on my residential property.I do have an alternate plan for offsite storage of what  ever I purchase so all my options are still open. Any input would be appreciated

The only piece of a advice I can give you from a former HTT owner (2011 Palomino 21RGS, very similar to the Roo 233S) is be sure why you want the HTT.  If set up/tear down in the rain or speed of set up/tear down is an issue, don't get a HTT with soft-sided bunks.  They take nearly as long as a pop-up to set up.  The only real benefit you gain is that it's usually lighter and shorter in length than a travel trailer with a similarly sized living+sleeping area.  The Roo 23RS or 25RS might still be OK under those circumstances, because they're essentially just conventional travel trailers with a rear slide-out.

The sail effect from a taller trailer is something to think about as well.  It can and does cut down on your gas mileage pretty severely at highway speeds (i.e., greater than 45mph).  If that concerns you, any TT or HTT may be out of the running and you may want to keep your focus solely on Hi-Lo, TrailManor or similar.

GA Judy has a TrailManor.  I'm not aware of anyone else on here that has either, though.
