We found two campers that we are going to look at tomorrow.  Well, the one from CL is planned and I left a message for the other that we found in the newspaper.  Still waiting for a call back.  What should we be looking for and what questions should we be asking?

It's not that much different than buying a used car.  Check over the mechanicals to see that everything works, maybe take it to a nearby dealer to do an inspection, although you'll obviously want to work something out with that dealer in advance. Look at the cosmetic condition of the camper.  If it's in good condition, there's probably a reasonable bet that they took good care of it, but it's not a guarantee.  Look for evidence of leaks.  Climb under the camper and look to see what condition everything is in.

Here's a site that's a little more specific:

I'm sure plenty of others will chime in with other helpful suggestions.

it would help knowing what kind of camper you're talking about. hybrid or popup?
which brand/model are you looking at? what are you towing with? how many will be sleeping in it?
more info is needed.

One thing I learned, people on the various forums tend to take better care of their toys.  Call it pride of ownership.

here,

My fingers are crossed for you. I wouldn't stress yoo much though, with the nice weather on the way there will be plenty of opportunities to find that N2U camper. I really do have to believe this because I technically own 2 right now and the PUP has to go.
