Thanks Kit.
My best bet for teaching would be a long term sub. I don't have a bachelor's degree, and quite frankly, the cost-benefit of obtaining one now isn't that high. I originally indicated I was interested in culinary instruction. However, when I spoke with the vocational department chair she believed it would be in both of our best interests if I was more general and included the automotive parts as well. They know I've never been a technician and have only worked in the customer service portion of that field. They're happy with that, I'm glad they are.
Thanks FMB.
Over the last month or more I have been experiencing a severe continual burning sensation in my chest underneath the skin of my right nipple. Yesterday I was at a couple specialists who were refered to me from my general practictioner. I had both a mammogram (okay ladies, I can identify with you now) and an ultrasound. The good news is nothing was found. The bad news is nothing was found.
We're back to square one. "We don't know" seems to be the phrase of the day, week or month.
As it is, other than worried, I'm doing okay and I'm in good spirits. As I know more, you'll know more.
Glad things are going good... a culinary teacher ... hmmmm not sure if there is a big demand for those (inside joke). Sounds like a couple of good campering trips, glad your medical troubles haven't kept from getting out... One of these days you really need to head over this way... We (minus DS1, who got on this summer as assistant cook @ the Easter Seals camp near Ottawa) just got back from a 15 day trip with stops at Letchworth and Watkins Glen in NY and Ives Run in PA.
What do the Maple Leafs and Tiger Woods have in common ???? Neither can play hockey .... lmfao ..
I had an MRI on my knees Friday. The review is tomorrow.
As for the chest issue, Friday's diagnosis was shingles. Odd, especially since shingles had been ruled out from the start. Regardless, that's what I'm being treated for. I'm certainly happy it wasn't worse.
Craig - one of my buds in Watertown, NY sent me a note the other day with the Leafs logo and Titanic side by side. The caption said: Both were great until they hit the ice.

Did you have chickenpoxs as a kid?? saw a report (think tv news) that said your 60% more likely to get shingles if you had chickenpoxs as a kid, also said that your 70% more likely to get a mild case if you had poxs before compared to someone who never had them, those persons will get a much more severe case...

BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA the good ole' Maple laughs ... almost time for another disastrous season to start... think this year my faith will lye with Winterpeg making the playoff's before the Leafs do...
Ouch Dan.
Yes, there's a tear as well as more than normal wear and tear of the meniscus. As of yesterday they "WD-40'd" me. I got a cort injection. It seems to be okay but I feel as though the leg will bend out in front of me many times. Weird.
My PCP and the ortho were told at the onset, nothing invasive unless all other treatments have been exhausted. The injection was the next step on that track.
