Are you a 1 or 2 napkin grabber or a handful?  Do you ever run out of napkins and wish you had just 1 more?  What do you do with the extra napkins?  Throw them out or put them someplace?

I am asking this question because I go to lunch at this place sometimes and they literally will put just 2 napkins on each tray.  It always seems like it won't be enough that I would want another 2 but then I never seem to need more than what they put on my tray.  Maybe knowing I have 2 napkins I use they sparingly, using all of the surface rather than 1 use and pick up another one.  Oh, and the napkins are behind the register so it is not like you can grab some more.

In High School we would always grab extra napkins and stuff them in every crevice of my friends car.  The glove box, center console, door pockets, etc.  Stupid things High School kids do.

At work whenever we have a catered lunch we save the napkins and I think it is funny when we get lunch from 1 place yet have napkins from 2 or 3 other places out.

Muhahahahahahahahahahahaha

That is a lot of thoughts on Napkins? I looked over on my desk and seen a stack of napkins I didn't realize was there from lunch earlier in the week?

Yes, my mind is cluttered with uncecessary thughts.

What do you do when you have your food on a tray and you go sit down but then you realize you forgot your straw or napkins?  Do you leave the tray on the table or do you take it with you?  Can you see my table from the napkin/straw station?  Will a worker think I am done and clear my table and throw away my food?  Will some random stranger grab a fry as they walk past?

Waaay too many thoughts in my head.

Well..................depending on what you had on the tray a random stranger such as myself could possibly pick up the entire tray and run like hell.  😀

A slow day at work today, Matt?  😉 If it makes you feel any better, it was gorgeous up at Hibernia this morning. Floyd & I took a walk, found a geocache, & sat by the lake for a bit. Ahhh....

It wasn't exactly slow at work....but I had the napkin thing fresh in my mind and I ALWAYS think about it when I get food and grab napkins.  Am I grabbing too many, will I run out  :banghead:

Another thing to think about......do you leave the extra napkins on the table?  Do you use the extra napkins that you find at your table (not in a dispenser, just sitting on the table).  I will use them to wipe my hands, but not my mouth.

Is there a legitimate phobia for my issue?

Definitely a case of Cafeteriosis with accessoritis syndrome.

Hey Lone Lock - and all you Over-Napkined-Sufferers, 😀

I'm working on a petition to send to all the car manufacturers for them to change the name of the Glove Box to the Napkin Holder.  Face it, if I'm taking my gloves with me, I'm wearing them.  Now napkins, every time we go somewhere, my DH always says - grab some extra napkins for the car.  😮

I think our glove box is like a clown car, the napkins just keep getting shoved in there and when you use them, there's no end in sight.

Maybe DH needs a support group for his Napikinitis.

In the mean time, I'm going to try and raise some money for my campaign...Anyone want to buy a napkin?  ;D

^ 😀  We do the same thing but use the napkins for all sorts of things inside the car - like wiping the inside windshield while trying to drive and vision is impaired from foggy window; wiping the inside windshield at night because headlights are reflecting off the residue that smeared during the daytime causing glare; wiping the streaks off from cleaning the inside windshield from all the cleaning. Never ends.

In a pinch, you can use the napkins as fire starters. 😮

Good luck.

Ok...I admit it...I'm a napkin-holic. When ever, where ever, I eat :smore: I must have at LEAST two napkins with me. I'm not at all shy about asking the cashier, waitress etc. for more.  If I or you spill, it will get wiped up. That lingering catsup on the cheek left behind from one of those juicy Wendy's burgers, swoosh, gone with my handy napkin. And those extra napkins left over? well, they are stuffed into my purse, my pockets, the book I'm reading :reader:,  my glove compartment, center and back console, and those handy little cubbies in my car doors.....yes, even in there too. Some of those restaurant napkins have even made it home to my family's dinner table too. Whew..it was so good to get this off my chest.. :jig:...I'm so glad you brought this up.
