I have a new TV and it has remote start.  Am I being a dweeb for constantly using it?  :- Will it wear out somehow (other than the batteries in the FOB)?  How often do you use your remote start?  My Mom had it in her car and would use it only in the winter to warm it up.  I’m thinking why not do the same in the summer with the AC.

I walk out my front door and I remote start it……40 yards away.

I walk out of my office and remote start it…..100 yards away.

I am at my tailgate putting something in the bed and I remote start it….10 feet from drivers door

I use mine all the time as well, especially now that the weather is warm. As we walk out of a store I’ll start it to get the A/C going to help cool down the the truck for the kids. Remeber it’s for the children…..

Best Regards,
Norm
