What an odd day today, I'm off splitting wood for a friend and come home to find out Cora was questioned by the police.  What?!?! My four year old daughter a suspect in some local hooligan crime ring?  Apparently some one near our house had a wheel barrow swiped by a girl in a pink sweatshirt and sweat pants, Cora just happened to be wearing a similar outfit (talk about profiling).  The funny part Kate was upstairs when she heard Cora unlock the back door and let someone in the house, she comes running downstairs to find two police officers being entertained by Cora.  Most of you that know my little one know how introverted and shy she is ;D  ;D I can only imagine the questioning session
Officer #1: Where were you today between the hours of 1:30 and 3:30?
Cora:  I like your badge, want to come see my hermit crab?
Officer #2: Are you able to lift forty pounds and walk with a wheel barrow?
Cora: Daddy has a wheel barrow, here I'll show you.  Do you like my swing set?  I like your car, my mommy just got a new car want to see it?  Mommy and I just baked some cookies, want one?

After Kate explained that they had just returned from a trip to the library they were on their way.  Oh what a fun afternoon.  Then to top things off while chatting with my mom on the phone I learn my sister in law is without a car.  When she was getting ready to take my nephew to do some shopping Connor comes back in the house (he's also four) and says "Mommy what happened to our car?"  Somebody blocked up their compact SUV and swiped all four wheels!!  My brother is deployed in Iraq and I think I just heard the shouting from halfway around the world  😀

What a crazy day, sure hope it gets better tomorrow.

You could write a book or movie script based on your family's day.  But the movie contract must include Cora playing the
the little girl. No one else could play the part. I hope today and days to come are better for all of you. I have to say
that was certainly a day for your family's history book.  stp

That is crazy.  I couldn't help but laugh out loud while reading your commentary with Cora's responses.  ::) I could hear her saying it.
