Was it me and my age or did that halftime show SUCK?

Almost everybody I was with last night thought so.  I don't mind the Black Eyed Peas STUDIO music, but live, they were just as horrid as The Who was last year... and that brought tears to my eyes as well.

You'd think that the NFL could figure how to mike the singers properly. But no, they never have, never. >:(
Every Superbowl half time show has the crappiest audio. Kind of sad to pay the money that they do for the performers and put out such a lousy product.

Why would the NFL pay money for something they don't care about ie sound for a halftime show. They don't even provide proper benefits for retired players. That stadium is going to be full no matter what

I didn't watch the halftime show but most everyone I heard from felt it is was bad.  I didn't like the National Anthem.  I am a purist when it comes to singing it, I like the original.  Christina could have sang it right and got the words right and it would have been great.

I quit watching half time "entertainment" years ago when it began to slide down the slippery slope of crap. I switched to C-Span and watched part of a book review for half time.

Best commercial in my eyes was the BMW diesel one.  I loved those old smokers as much as the unaffordable german imports of today.

Like always, there are few good commercials and there are horrible commercials.  I think the Chrysler commercial about Detroit was an eye opening commercial. It hit me when they said..  imported from Detroit!  Some of the Doritos commercial where kool like the dog running over the door and the weekend seater that revives the fish and all.. Bud Light commercials where,, well.. light!. Coke was OK, and Pepsi.. looked like they made it up at the last minute. But I have to agree with the networks... the VW - Darth Vader commercial was funny.. at least for us that still have young children running around with capes and making believe they are super-heros.

I bleed black and gold and have to say it was a good game. Although after following the Steelers all season long I still don't understand why the so "famous" #1 Defence didn't show up to play...  I am dissapointed they lost, but,  I am more upset 'cause they where not the team that play the Jets and Ravens throughout the playoff. Where was Polamalu? Farrior? Kiesel? Hampton? .. I only saw Woodley getting to Rogers, and maybe Harrison sack him once ... but what about the rest?  Same goes for the offense with the exception of Ward.

I was at the game and did not see the tv broadcast.  A few of my friends were complaining how bad the halftime show was as well.  I thought the half time show was great in the stadium.  It sounded and looked great.
