Our thoughts and prayers go out to the parents, children, families, teachers and community of the tragedy in Connecticut.  Such a senseless and selfish act of pain.  I can't help but take the time to cherish the campfire conversations, laughter and memories we've had with our family.

I agree with you! It is so sad to hear this so near Christmas time! A lot of people want to blame guns for what happened, it was not the guns but the idiot behind the trigger. If guns was not around, the sick people would use knifes or even explosives or home made weapons. I know this is a sad time of the year for a lot of people. But a lot of us is getting away for what Christmas is really about!
The Birth of our Saviour! Just imagine if we didn't celebrate this special event, we would not have Easter for a Holiday as well!
We all need to hung our Love Ones and show them how much we Love them. Lets pray for everyone who is suffering or even sad during these holidays. If you know of someone who is, try to hug them or get them a little something to show them that you care about them and you feel some of their pain. Sometimes a little Love can go a long way in filling someones deep sorrow!

I am sorry if I offended anyone reading this post, I just wanted to say that we need to love another even during tragic events and all through the year. Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes we are not to understand why.

Yesterday's tragedy is unimaginably sad.
Our 5 year old is in kindergarten and she got one heck of a hug when she got home from school yesterday.
We tell our children we love them every day.

Thoughts and prayers for all involved.

So many tragedies, those personal or public, are driven by mental illness, social deviance, or evil hatred. Our hearts and prayers are with the families of all who were lost yesterday and those will will be affected their whole lives by this incident as we try to cope and understand our own lives.

I cannot even imagine how these families will get through it, but if they have a belief system, I am sure it will be easier to heal. I pray it is so.

I am a 47 year old man and I literally cried when I saw the reports, I had to tell dw to change the channel. This is the worst crime on society that I have ever heard of and I pray that I will never hear of anything this horrific again, as long as I live. I have lost loved ones well before their time but those losses were due to an accident. This was no accident and there is nothing I can say to relieve the grief that these families must be feeling. I will grieve with them and pray that these types of acts will never happen again.

You aren't the only one that cried yesterday.
I'm man enough to admit it as well.
Absolutely devastating.

I am deeply saddened by the events that took place and also very angry that it was allowed to happen.

I don't know how to prevent something like this from happening again but we really need to search LONG AND HARD to find an answer.
