My wife and I have been going through the stress of do we sell our small house, add on, stay put or buy a larger camper.  We decided to jump off the cliff and sell our house and see what we could find.  We sold our house and then we found our dream house  :jig:

This house had a sign in the bathroom that said "And they lived happily every after".....That was on our wedding favors.  Was that a sign that this was going to be our house or what  :goodstuff:

We had the list of Needs and Wants for our next house (room to park the camper was a need ).  We found this house that had everything  As you can tell from the video there were a lot of "Nice" and "I like THIS" comments.  At the end of the video you will see some of the houses that had comments like "What's that smell?" and "People are living here??"

So, how about a "Moving day rally".  I have an acre.  Everyone set up in my backyard on Friday and then on Saturday we have a caravan's of TV's  😛 .....Actually we are getting movers, but thanks for the offer

Woohoo!! Congrats! (We had movers the last time we moved, too. It's a fabulous idea.)

No matter how I figure it, there was no way I was going to move myself.  Too much work and too much hassle.  I already had to cancel my January trip  🙁 that was planned for the week after I moved.  I think the Honey Do list will be quite large that weekend.  However I will be at the Spring Opener.  I just have to call to transfer my January reservation to March.  I will be looking forward to that. :camperkid:

The move is almost here....Friday is the big day.  There have been so many ups and downs with this I swear I was going to have a heart attack dealing with this.  But the day is coming  🙂

One of the downs I just experienced is we won't have cable and internet until maybe the 20th or the 28th.  What am I going to do without access to the internet and CC? 😮

Congrats on the house!
You could always use TapaTalk on your smartphone for CC.

Why so long? Comcast issues?  ::)

When our son and his wife bought their house they were told that it would take more than a week for Comcast to hook them up. She told them in no uncertain terms that that was not acceptable. The hookup was done in a couple of days ... she has a way of getting her way, without raising her voice.

No smart phones for us, trying to keep the expenses down.  Also no cable TV, just internet and phone.  Actually it is Verizon.

DW was dealing with them.  They told her the 20th but she said no because it was a week day and we are taking time off now so she scheduled it for the 28th.  I told her to call back and take the 20th at the very least and I'll take off.  When she called back she told the person that I was "not happy" and the day got scheduled to the 17th.  I think I will call tomorrow and see what can be done.  DW does not like confrontation. I will call tomorrow and flat out tell them I will call comcast and whoever gets there first gets my business.  We'll see how fast they move then.

I have had so many ups and downs....lets just say I will not recommend my agent to anyone.

Oh, gawd, dealing with Verizon is worse than Comcast! When we wanted to drop long distance from our Verizon account it took them 4 or 5 months to get it right. The request really didn't seem that difficult...

The movers couldn't get everything into their 26 foot truck so DW, SIL, and BIL talked me into renting a U-haul.  I was against it but the won out.  I was OK with getting a small box truck. That wasn't available and I wound up with this monstrosity.

I have to say, it was great to just throw stuff in the truck and not have to worry about packing a small truck to the roof, or making multiple trips with the pickup and stowing it in my mom's garage or something.  Plus the vacuum cleaners and mops and stuff as we cleaned the house.
