I want to add a porta potti to my camper and didn't realize there were so many different types, models and brands.  I'm interested in the thetford 260b.  Any recommendations of something different?

This looks like the same one we have, works well and the wife appreciates not having to walk to the bath house in the middle of night

Some have suggested to me that the portable potties are a good way to go since it doesn't have to be dumped at a dump station.  They are certainly easier to install!

Thetford makes good products. We have a Thetford 465 which is electric. It stands 16" tall closer to a real toilet height. The 260 is only 12" tall.

One of the first things I picked up for my popup was a portable potty from Thetford.  I bought the taller version with the "extra capacity" so that it sits taller.....I think 18 inches.  I didn't want to sit on the floor with the shorter ones.  I have since moved to an RV with a potty already inside but I still have my portable potty and take it whenever I tailgate.

I don't remember the brand of porta potty but it was a 5 gallon capacity that was the height of the regular bench seat.  We  kept it inside the storage seating bin until we took off the bench seat at night. I got it online and we sold it with our PUP. It came apart easily to dump in the CG bathroom.
