After being a boon docking tent camper my whole life, got a small popup last summer. In the boonies you can drain the grey water into a bucket and dump it in the woods, but I plan on going to some campgrounds with full hookups this summer. Would it be better to buy a grey water tote or one of those garden hose drain adapters to hook into where RV's dump their black water? Or both? I also plan to visit some state camp grounds with only water hookup so I expect I'll need a tote there. :-
Hi Raycfe
We've used a large dishpan on the ground . As you saw from our Hello from NH post we have only camped once in our pup. I am thinking of going to the Williamsburg rally. (Always have wanted to go there and at 63 it's time to "git er done"). From the pictures of the campground, what my DW would call a "parking lot with hookups", I was worried about rules on grey water disposal. They may not "allow" a five gallon bucket. I searched their website and couldn't find any info. Have any experience with these types of campgrounds?
