Portable Black/Grey tanks

I have a portable "grey" water tank. I don't see why I can't use it for black waste as well. Any thoughts. The reason is three women using the camper head and we fill our storage tank fairly quickly. That limits the sites we sometimes will get because of hook-ups (sewer), but short of purchasing an additional portable "black" tank, I think I'll just use my "grey" one for double duty.

No problem.

We're looking at the same situation this season. We have a portable gray water tank we used with our old PUP but bought the Niagara at the end of last season. That has holding tanks, but the black tank is 9 gallons and on the weekends when our son, daughter-in-law and grandson (newly potty trained and fascinated with potties  😉 ) join us I can see the gray and black tanks filling up. I plan to offload into the portable tank as needed, and "topping" it off with gray water.

I've read that there are some states where off loading the black water is illegal.

This is exactly why I don't have a camper with holding tanks.  I can deal with urine in the cassette, but I don't do solids. 😉
