If you have broken plastic bed rail slider ends on your popup, WAIT to buy the BedWedgie replacement bed rail ends.  There seems to be problems with the product that places that a bed wedgie touches track, the aluminum track is starting to wear out the paint first and has worn the aluminum track half thickness.

The plastic ones can still be purchased on ebay and other sites.

Not sure why there would be a recall. Unlike the cheap plastic that will break if rubbing on the rail, the metal can be filed to fit perfectly. On my model the rail end hangs in the air, but judging by the photos, the rollers in the slides must be worn to let the rail ends sit on the aluminum below, so the plastic would break every time they are replaced as they will not hold the weight of the bed. Better money spent either fixing the cause or custom fitting the metal ones to not hang below the rail.

I think the ends rubbed the rails and slowly gridded them away at the aluminium bed rails.

I agree. With no clearance they would do that and replacing the plastic will immediately break again. But using a file to remove any any excess from the metal (I.e. Make the bottom match the rail end that they are attached to) would not allow them to rub anymore than the entire rail that they are on. Easier than replacing the worn rollers that have the rail too low. Custom fit and both problems solved.
