I herd rumors but now I saw the web site.  I just saw that the Coleman plant in Somerset, PA is back in production of campers.  It is now owned by Columbia Northwest and it new line of Somerset Pop-Ups.  They carry Sun Valley, Utah, and Niagara as well as E2 and E3 extreme models.  On the web site they say they will carry many of the parts for Coleman / Fleetwood which is great news to hear.  Here is the website:

from the web page:

"Will Columbia Northwest supply parts for Coleman and Fleetwood Folding Trailers?

Somerset camping trailers are built with many of the same component parts that were used in the construction of folding trailers produced by Fleetwood Folding Trailers, Inc. and FTCA, Inc.  While Columbia Northwest is not purposely planning to become a distributor for historical folding trailer parts, there will be parts available to dealers that can be retrofitted for use on Coleman and Fleetwood folding trailers.  Contact your nearest Somerset dealer to inquire about parts availability. Parts available spring 2012. "

Its not the actual Somerset plant, that is gone. It is a plant owned by Columbia Northwest with many of the original Coleman engineers and workers.

I don't think they purchased any assets (patents, plans, design, trademarks etc) from the former Fleetwood company.  All they sounded like is they hired alot of Fleetwood/Coleman key-personnel (ie: managers/engineers) and such utilizing that to there advantage.

That is good news for us Coleman owners. I was really happy when I read last week that they finally acquired the patent, plans....

Dave S - then that is really good news!!

As far as I could see that 2 "undisclosed" companies purchased the remaining assists. I guess Somerset is one of them.

Beckley's RV in MD is the other "undisclosed company"  they picked up the remaining parts stock as well as the any trailers in prodiction and completed.
