hi,
My family has owned our pop-up tent trailer since I was very young - it was probably purchased in the early 1970s, and it was most likely manufactured in the 1960s. I am now trying to restore the trailer, but I'm running into problems identifying the original manufacturer and model.
Unfortunately, the plate with the VIN was removed by a neighbor who tried to "take the trailer off my mother's hands". He also caused damage to the windows and canvas, which I now need to restore. So I can't use the VIN to help ID the trailer.
The stickers on the trailer clearly read "IROQUOIS TRAILER", made in SCARBORO, ONTARIO. Also, on the sides of the trailer, there are stickers that read "SUN VALLEY".
Here is a link to a Google photo album with pictures of the same type of trailer. This is not my trailer (I need to set it up and take photos tomorrow) but it is exactly the same, except for the paint on the box.

Does anyone know what kind of trailer this is?
My ultimate goal in all of this is to have the original canvas replaced or repaired. Since this neighbor also discarded our matresses, I need to source two new mattresses for it. The first step though is to correctly identify what sort of trailer this is.
thanks!
hi,
Here are pictures of the actual tent trailer. I've also included pictures of the damage to the canvas and window panels.
Does anyone have ideas on what make and model of trailer this is? Also, could anyone comment on how repairable the canvas material might be? The main problems are with two of the zippers (the main zipper and the rear window zipper) and with several of the window screens.
here are the pictures:

thanks!
This really looks like an Apache Softsided Camper to me. I have seen and was told by an Apache Guru that they were purchased by distributors and relabeled to be sold under the distributors name. The body style really reminds me of the late 60's models. Apacheowners.com tells all about them and shows photos and manuals of different models. You might check them out and see if you can match it up to one of those. Good news is that you can get replacement canvas for the Apache's through several vendors! Awesome pop-up by the way!
