For those not experienced with MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) here are a few things you might want to know.

    [li]It is VERY flammable[/li]
[li]Too much exposure to the fumes (even in a well ventilated area can irritate your throat and cause headaches)[/li]
[li]It will dry your hands out quickly[/li]
[li]It really burns if you get it in a cut. Even a very tiny one that you DIDN'T know you had[/li]
[li]One small drop will discolor paint and will start to bubble it up if left on long enough, which is not very long.[/li]

So just to be safe, make sure you read and follow all of the safety warnings.

Original crack in my ABS roof.

[li]I cleaned roof area around the crack with a damp cloth[/li]
    [li]Lightly sanded to remove paint[/li]
[li]Drilled the ended of the crack to release stress or chance of expanding[/li]
[li]Prep and taped work area around the crack[/li]

[li]I used a rasp to shave ABS for a piece of scrap I picked up at a local dealer who has a pile of old roofs out back.[/li]
[li]I mixed the MEK and ABS shavings in a glass jar.  Let stand for 24 hrs while steering every few hours.[/li]

Applied ABS paste with a wooden chop stick but a popsicle stick would work better.

It is taking a little longer than expected to set up but I will lightly sand and paint after it's hardened.

I'm not sure what I'd do with a new camper and no projects.  ???
