We just bought a new to us pop up trailer

It is a 1978 lexair and needs some work

We were wondering how much side to side movement the posts should have.  We need to resecure then at the base, but are wondering if we should put more braces to limit the movement.

Roofs/roof posts will sway side to side quite a bit in the wind - its quite normal.

We camped in very heavy winds twice, the roof moved so much that the velcro came disconnected at the side of the door.
