I was at the RV show in Hershey Wednesday and saw the Somersets...very nice. While talking with the representative there, I mentioned that the Sun Valley was the only model light enough for me to tow with my RAV4. He said that if I held off a bit, that Somerset was going to have a few lighter weight models coming out soon/next season??
They are very, very nice campers...indeed 😀
Do you want an idea of pricing for the different models? I have the pricing from the RV show.

I'm not saying you should pay this price, but I would pay more than the sale price if you are east of the Mississippi.
Price tag for the line is not worth it. If I was to spend that kind of money I would just move on to a hybrid. These are pop ups regardless of name and think they are exuding an opportunity market that exists. For the price, not worth it. Not sold on the sunbrella either. I had custom made boat covers made for my boat and all pieces have faded and appear saggy for no reason. The features listed are pretty much standard on a lot of other brands. If you purchase any pop up, the reality is, if you take care of it; it will serve you well for years. Neglect it then your depreciation just accelerates itself.
Having just bought another brand, I would say it's worth it.
Somerset didn't have a trailer light enough for our car. We actually had a chance to buy a basically unused 2011 Coleman Utah that was already in Korea, but it's just too big to lug around here.
JoeCamper-You forgot to mention that they have all metal construction on the walls, not wood. (at least they did)
Everything is still LCI, Suburban, or Lippert at first glance, but it's how it's put together that makes all the difference. Trust me.
I've already spent well over 40 man-hours "fixing things" on our new trailer, and have at least 40 more, not including the roof repairs! >:(
When we were looking to buy what turned out to be our Viking Epic 2107, I emailed with several area dealers, carefully delineating my requirements, including max tow weight. One guy harped and harped and harped and harped on Somerset, with COMPLETE DISREGARD to my needs and preferences. This guy couldn't sell food to a starving man.
We did look at Somerset -- then brand new -- at a show. Not at all what we were looking for, though they do seem well-made in an industrially glitzy sort of way. They're also heavy, which follows.
Because of that as.... fellow, I have a tough time evaluating Somersets in a neutral way. Many of the Somerset features shown above are on my Viking, though.
