Velcro on the gizmos mod

Did the velcro on the gizmos mod yesterday. Bought a box of Industrial Strength velcro at Lowes for $26. 15 feet would be enough to do both sides.

This looked like a good place to put the piece under the roof.

Removed them and readjusted a couple times with the velcro sticking well. Think I will leave them on when breaking down the camper.

Now that's a good idea. Great job bud. I'd do it for sure if i had the gizmo's.

Nice work.

I used 1' on each end. 4" on the left and right side and 4" in the middle.
I sewed the three pieces to the Space Brand All Weather Blanket and stapled the three pieces to the inside of the roof at each end. I bought it off a roll at an Army/Navy store.

Very nice. This mod has worked very well for me. We leave the gizmos attached all the time (unless they are wet) and fold them flat with the canvas. I did have to glue the ends of the velco on the ABS roof.
