1) - the interior layout
2) and 3) - an exterior access door
(note): here's a pic of my previous pup where I installed an access door and did so on the driver's side rather than what the factory specs call for being on the curb side. Here my back-up guide is going to direct the backing in process to one of our very favorite sites in the Nantahala Nat'l Forest next to a stream that has lots of nice trout close by.

1. King sized beds. & front storage trunk
2. Slide out dinette (Passing each other in the PUP is tough)
3. a. Moved water heater and water system drains to outside edge of PUP.
b. Moved fresh water tank drain to outside edge of PUP.
c. Added bar type faucet to inside sink.
d. Changed dinette area to a U shaped seating area and traded heavy OEM table for a smaller folding table
e. Installed some 12v outlets for cell phones etc.
f. Added outside pin jack to porch light to plug in bunkend light under awning.
g. Added cooling fans to refridgerator.
h. Added roof rack Kayak carriers.
i. Auto switchover valve for propane tanks.
1. Honestly, I love everything about our PUP
2. [i]Except[i] the interior color scheme; the primary color (cushions, drapes, etc) is a shade of blue that I really dislike. It's been hard for me to wait for it to wear out so I can justify replacing it, but the insulating backing is peeling off the drapes so this will be the last season for them!
3. We attached a length of 4" PVC (along with removable end caps) to the front bumper (?) of the camper; we roll up the outdoor rug and transport it in there. The little table that folds down between the two benches to make a bed collapsed (particleboard failure), we decided that the table really wasn't large/stable enough to be practical anyway and just set a cut-to-fit piece of wood between the benches so that the cushions can be laid overtop. We haven't really done any other mods (yet)!
When we bought our PUP new we debated over 2. One with the slideout dinning area and bathroom and the one we did get which is the Sun Valley. I really like our Sun Valley and at the time of purchase I did not have to deal with all the toilet stuff and I think at the time with my old Dakota it put me near the top of my GVW rating. If I had to do it over, I probably would have gone for that model.
