Does anyone know where I can find an inexpensive replacement key or lock to my 1996 Starcraft 1224 PUP?  I know it's not very effective when popped up, but I'm thinking it would be good to be locked when it's being stored for the winter.

... And if I don't get a good answer here, I'm forming a conga line at French Creek and directing it to pass my camper so everyone can try their key.  Don't think I won't try...

You can do a conga line only if we can give you full strength coffee first :crazydance:

If you are worried about theft in the winter, check out your latches.  One of my latches I can put a padlock through it.  If I put a padlock through it the top can't be lifted which means my door can't be opened.

There really aren't that many different keys used on pop-ups, regardless of manufacturer. When you're at French Creek ask other campers if you can try their key on your PUP.

I'm not sure how many different key patterns Starcraft uses, but Fleetwood/Coleman used just a few, making it pretty easy to get your PUP open when you get to the campground and find that your keys are at home!

You can also get replacement locks at an RV dealer or on eBay.

Our camper was given to us without a key.  I unscrewed  the handle from the door and took it to my local dealer. They had a box of spare locks keys and parts.  The second key we tried worked and they gave it to me.
