Just made our Resi's for our annual Halloween Camp Out at Findley State Park in Ohio. This is our 5 yr attending this event. All the electric sites are booked. In Ohio you can book 6 months in advance. This year they are full 2 days early. That means we pay for 2 more days than we will be there.
Findley is a great park with 271 sites but only 90 are electric. Normally that's not a big deal. But in October you never now what the weather will be and my wife is a freeze baby. Hence the need for electric (furnace and electric blankets).
It's such a great time. Campsite decorating, games, community soup, trick or treating and Hay rides. A couple campers even set up haunted houses.
It's crazy making plans for our last trip of the season and we haven't even went on our first one yet.
Hope you have a good trip. My son is 2 but I hope to take him "Halloween camping" when he gets older. It would take some convincing to take my wife camping in Oct without electricity as well.
