I survived the temps and the snow. Friday night it dipped into the single digits, Saturday night was in the high teens. Both lakes were open for ice fishing and some skating.

Friday night I said to DW that I don't think I'm going to be rushing out to camp as I shivered my way up to the house.

You the man!

Looks great!!  I love your pictures of camping in the winter.  I see you kept it a nice temp inside your HTT.  What time did you get there?  I saw tire tracks in the snow, did anyone tow in the snow?  It was interesting driving home from Work on Friday.

Before I venture out in the snow with my 11,000# Class C I want to get at least a tow strap capable of pulling me out of a ditch if I slide and I would like to get a set of tire chains.  I have to see if I can put some cheater chains on -vs- a full set.

Matt, One guy towed from MD in that mess and a couple came from Lansdale. I was there by 12:30 and was set up when the snow came. I burned a near full tank of propane.

Mark. in the next month or so REI and EMS will be having sales on winter items, I went last year, I'll never be cold again.

Oh, we're well equipped for cold. But with the weather of the last week; I'm tired of shivering.

It was SPAR Winter Field Day, I set up the 20 meter dipole and worked some stations. I spent most of Saturday trying to work a guy from Namibia, no go.
