Well I've been delinquent in not reporting on the second pup trip.

Tail of the Dragon has been on my list for 2-3 years, so finally there were three days with no rain forecast so I went for it!

Two nights at Crawfords Campground near Murphy NC.  It sounded nice & they took Passport America.  I forgot that "restaurant nearby" was an important criteria for me.  It's a 20 minute drive up scenic roads to the campground.  Back down to the Ingles, back up....  Perhaps a good fishing/chillin' campground.  Not a good touring base.

Beautiful day May 30.  Tail of the Dragon was a little disappointing, perhaps it's better on a motorcycle than a one ton dodge.  Cherohala Skyway was a beautiful drive.  I had perhaps the best sandwich in my whole life at the Tellico Grains Bakery.
