I'm going to my Father-in-Laws in Altoona PA Fri, Sat, and Sun night. It is a "Labor from the kids weekend". All of his kids and his wifes kids are supposed to show up and paint his house. I'm bringing the RV so we have a place to stay since my SIL and her husband will be taking the extra sleeping area in the house. The other 4 kids and spouses/GF's live in the area. My FIL lives in a very rural wooded area so it will be just like camping.
On Monday morning DW, DS, and I are then heading to Raystown Lake Resort Campground for Mon and Tue night. It looks awesome!! I am so looking forward to camping during the week with an empty campground. There is some sort of sightseeing river boat cruise on Monday, mini-golf, swimming in the lake, and just general camping.

We are heading over to Camp Mckinney at Lake Altoona in Georgia for labor day weekend. When I made our reservations, I didn't realize the South East rally was the following weekend. So we'll just leave the camper there (2/3 days) and head back over for the rally the next weekend. So looking forward to the camping weekends since that is the only time I'm not "laboring" but really relaxing.

Camping down here in FL at Longpoint park. Right on the Intracoastal with some great fishing! Hopefully, we can have a fresh fish fry one night.
Same for me. ;D
Thingette 1s sister, we enjoyed that park when we were there in the summer.
I loved Codorus SP in PA when DW, DS, and I visited 2 summers ago. We loved the 0 degree entry pool, splashground, and the waterslide....although Nathan can't do that yet (doesn't mean I can't 🙂

Was too busy over the weekend to post...
DH worked both Saturday & Sunday doing a maintenance shutdown; I helped my parents remedy a bat infestation problem Saturday and had Dad over for the remainder of the day; nice time hearing about his childhood experiences as an Eastern PA 'rail fan'.
Sunday was spent with yardwork; when DH came home we cooked on the grill and spent a few hours out on the patio yakking with the boys and watching the hummingbirds and butterflies.
Slept in this morning; ashamed to admit how late. I did homework (classes started Thursday); DH did bills and such. Made hamburgers for boys; discussed school starting tomorrow with youngest DS and school starting in 2 weeks for oldest DS (freshman at Drexel).
Counted blessings. Couldn't think of a better way to end a weekend 🙂
I thought a lot about camping and got some things ready for the Southeasten Rally next weekend, but we didn't do much grilling or such. Saturday, I ran some errands and shopped online for emergecy supplies for my stash ( :)). Sunday after church, DH and I went with older DD and her DH for Mexican food when the other DD backed out, so we missed seeing our twin grandsons but made up for it today by babysitting them from 10 AM to 4:30 PM. Thunder and heavy rain woke us up around 4:30 AM and rain subsided in the early afternoon.
After that we went to the international market and got some rip-roarin' deals on fresh produce, some of which will end up in the foods for the rally. (Right now looking up recipes for Chinese eggplant with spicy/sweet garlic sauce for tomorrow's supper.)
If you fell asleep reading this, I don't blame you. I'm nodding here myself.
