We hope everyone had a great winter, and kept those coals going in the colder months. The 2017 East Coast DOG was a great success. We would like to thank Codorus State Park for all their help in putting this event on. We are now planning for the 2018 East Coast DOG. The dates this year will be September 7 – 9, 2018. Things are moving along, our schedule is up and are we are updating our website with changes. Registration is now open, and event T-shirts are also available for pre-order. So keep checking back for all up to the date information.

The East Coast DOG is open to anyone who has an interest in Dutch oven cooking, regardless of your skill level. We encourage everyone to come and join us for a fun day of learning, cooking, meeting some great people and of course eating. Whether you are a seasoned veteran, or have never touched a black pot before, there is always something for you at the East Coast DOG. We will be having Dutch oven classes, a one pot cook-off, and a potluck dinner at the end of the day. We are also not far from Gettysburg, Hershey, and Lancaster, if you would like to do some sightseeing. If you aren’t sure you are ready to cook, the public is welcome to come and talk with any of the cooks participating. So bring your iron, and cook up some goodness. It is going to be a great event, and we hope you will join us.
