After planning group rallies for the last few years, I've always talked about building a chuckwagon from an old camper. Replacing the bunk ends with table tops to serve food. Building a full inside countertop with two stoves and prep area. Adding an outside sink in the back for dishes. Putting outlets and power stripes all over the place. Removing the canopy on the front and bunk ends, leaving the back and bunk end roof for shade and wind control. I've even had a local dealer offer me a free old camper with title, just come pick one from their back lot.
I've never completed this because there is no easy way to haul a camper and chuck wagon. Making two trips stinks.
Guess what? The company I work for this installing an aluminum frame and retractable awning on a chuckwagon for a local brew company, Victory! This thing includes a triple sink, stainless steel counters, gas grill and walk-in freezer. :jig: I think I'm in heaven. They rent this it and offer their full restaurant menu. I'll have to post some pictures.
So did you talk to Victory about borrowing it for a weekend?
I met a guy in NJ who grew up in the 70's on Long Island and swore someone stole a loaded beer truck and drove it into the woods where they used to party and had a great time until the beer ran out. I don't know how true the story is but it would have been funny.

We actually had one of our route trucks stolen from off the route. A police chase insued and shots were fired at our truck. We the police returned it to us you could actually count the bullet holes. They said they were shooting at the tires, well if they were I sure wouldn't want to go out in the woods hunting with them!!
In the 90's/early 00s I had concession trucks, and high volume food trailers built by Custom, Inc in Hammonton, NJ.
They can build anything you can imagine, or more importantly afford.
