I've promised both Joe and myself that I'd get this thread going.

I'm going to accept emails, PM's and add-ons to this tread for great sites for recipes.  They can be for camping or home.  Heck, if you've got a link for a favored cookbook, or even the title, toss that in as well.

Here are a few of my go-to sites.  Granted, they're not specifically for camping, but most recipes are adaptable.  If they're not, they're certainly great for home.

Liquor Control Board of Ontario LCBO.ca  This is my "hidden gem".  I used to get the magazine when I lived in Trenton, ON.  I still eyeball this one.  Several restaurants have menu items on their list from this site due to my love for it.  They rock!

Food dot com Food.com a pretty generic site with lots of recipes.

Camp recipes Camprecipes.com another generic site, but geared towards camping.

Dutch oven recipes JustDutchOvenRecipes.com  The title says it all.  Over 2,500 recipes.

Steve, if we get a few  links, we can create a new category in the Links area (Link to Manufacturers) that links to the sites.

Whenever I get in a food rut at home I go to the http://www.Cooks.com website and they have lots of easy recipes that people have submitted....I also like the BettyCrocker website ( just guessing....i think it is http://www.bettycrocker.net) and lastly, my 4 yr old daughter loves to watch cooking videos on youtube .....i admit that has gotten to be alot of fun for me as well :chef: .....there is an old lady who cooks called "Depression Cooking with Clara" and she is cute as a button and then there is "trailer park cooking show" which is hilarious and most of the recipes are over the top and then there is this funny cooking show called " cooking with dog" where it is in japan and there is a dog beside the lady as she cooks.....i wouldn't eat much from that show but it is funny to watch the dog ( at christmas, he had on a christmas hat,etc).....there are all kinds of cooking videos on http://www.youtube.com....you can also go to the major cooking sites like ortega if you want mexican or duncan hines,etc....you'd be surprised what they have out there on the net :reader:.....SCmomma

Most major food manufacturers have pretty good web sites.  Best yet is they actually showcase their own products.

We like a lot of different flavors.  Lee Kum Kee, a manufacturer of Chinese jarred pastes/condiments offers a wide range of items that are easy to work with.  Off the top of my head I believe http://www.lkk.com is their website.

(Because I'm doing this from my phone, I am not making a hotlink.  If I remember, I'll edit it tomorrow.)

I go to http://www.ALLRECIPES.com  a lot because their website allows you to form a partial ingredient list of things you have on hand, and it pulls up recipes containing those ingredients.  I have made several new recipes working "backwards" like this.

There's a CD-ROM based program called MasterCook.  I highly recommend it.  You can find it available on eBay.
I've been using it in one verson or another since I was in culinary school.  I still take it on the road with me when I'm setting up restaurants.

MasterCook is still available.  It's a computer program with many built in cookbooks and the ability to add your own recipes.
As I recall, there's also video clips of techniques.
My FIL purchased the most recent version (newer than mine) and said he has the ability to export information to his iPhone for shopping lists, etc.

I have used most of Eagle"s Scout sites, they are great even for the backyard.
How about,  http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/forum/
it's amazing what you can do with a smoker in the backyard. Besides its a good excuse to drink beer.
