1 box yellow cake mix                    4 eggs
1 cup sour cream                            1 cup raisins ( i used 3/4 cup)
3/4 cup wesson oil                          1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar                          5 tsp cinnamon

topping:
2 cups confectioners sugar                4 Tbsp milk
2 tsp vanilla
(nuts can be also added to topping)

Mix cake mix, sour cream,Wesson oil, sugar, and eggs all together, adding eggs one at a time. Mix raisins, brown sugar and cinnamon in separate bowl. Pour part of first cake batter into 9X13 inch pan or 12 in DO,then swirl some dry mix. Pour remainder of batter, then rest of dry mixture(swirl). Bake at 275 to 300 for 45 to 50 minutes. Let cake cool and mix topping and poor over cake. Let it set up then serve!!!!!

Yummy!

In our rush to get out camping, I forgot to pack the sugar and the vanilla that I placed in the "MIO" bottle must have been expired, haven't checked it yet.

Simple and even without the sugar was darn good!  The sugar would have given it that extra sweetness but it was fine without it.  DH kept saying that my icing was not tasting right.  So I will attribute that to the Mio bottle that I used still had a bit of the flavor or the vanilla was to darn old. Nuts would also really set this recipe off the charts.  Loved how the swirls of brown sugar and raisins left little pockets of sweet goodness.

This recipe is a keeper and I'll pre-mix the dry before leaving home.  DH is thinking fresh peach or apricot bits, he's not an apple or raisin lover.

Had to share this - took half of what was left over from the camping trip this weekend to work.

Raves all around.  I got the bottom of the DO a bit hot and burned it, but everyone said that they couldn't believe that I'd cooked it over the fire in a dutch oven.
